Residential Watch

This service is provided to Buchanan County residents during an extended absence from their residence (vacation, etc.) Please fill in a Residential Watch Form with all the pertinent information applicable. This will assist us in monitoring your property for suspicious activity. It is also requested that you contact us upon your return. For more information please call 236-8812.

By submitting this form you release the Buchanan County Sheriff's Department from any and all claims on any incident relating to your property in your absence. The Buchanan County Sheriff's Department will make periodic checks on your property, and this document merely provides information of persons to be contacted and other facts if a crime should occur.
