[ARCHIVED] Crime Victim Memorial Tree

Victim Christmas Tree

For the past 25 years, the Buchanan County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has organized and hosted the Crime Victim Memorial tree lighting service. This year a live tree was planted, now the memorial is a permanent fixture on the lawn of the Buchanan County Courthouse.  Family and friends of victims of violent crime have a place to put an ornament in honor of their loved ones. Pictured; are Victim Advocates from the Prosecutor's Office who organized this years’ service, Leslie Williams (left) and Siobhan Jackson (right).
