Megan Stickley was elected Buchanan County Public Administrator in 2016.
Graduating from Benton High School in 2002, she later trained in business office administration at Hillyard Technical Center, where she was named Outstanding Student in 2007. She had worked in retail and as a tax preparer prior to joining the Public Administrator’s office as an intern in early 2007. Since 2007, Megan has remained an employee of the Public Administrator’s office, working her way up from an intern to Chief Deputy, and now, Public Administrator. She has been integrally involved in creating professional, organized, open, and transparent procedures in the office over the course of the last ten years.
Megan is a United Way volunteer, and a graduate of Leadership St. Joseph (2008). She is currently serving on the boards for Community Action Partnership and Family Guidance Center.
Megan is a member of the Women's Democratic Club, and the United Democratic Club.
Megan and her husband are the proud parents of a son and daughter.
